Jeb, the two are completely unrelated. The site accessibility issues were very unfortunate to be sure, but whether an app was in development surely had no impact on whether the issues occurred or how they were addressed. The snark is completely unnecessary.

Actually, if one had the app back then one could potentially (depending on the root cause of the site being down) use the app instead of the web site to workaround the issue.

Treat me like you care that a member couldn't enter two challenges a few weeks apart rather than completely ignoring them and maybe they won't get snarky.

If you have a problrm with that, then deal with it, at least pretend that you're sorry, or just throw me off the site, 'cause if I don't get what I'm entitled to as a member, why bother? And when that happens, I *WILL* bitch.

Hey, I remember when we weren't even allowed to use a phone, PLUS..... I'm not joined at the hip and do everything on my phone.

I certainly don't shoot, edit, vote or anything that would be ever so much better on an actual screen.

And again, to this day, after being basically screwed out of two challenges, I have no idea what the f*ck even happened, or why I should believe it isn't something I'm going to run into again.....'cause nobody said anything about it.....or at least not in such a manner that anyone indicated that they remotely cared.

Well, I confess I feel a little prickly about not being able to enter the red white and blue (at the last minute), but really, Jebster, this site is not the be-all and end-all of digital photography. It is engrossing, and still a place to put a toe in and test the waters.

And by the way, I am always amazed at people still complaining about the scores, and suggesting that this is the reason for the declination of participants. Sniff the wind, enjoy the remains.

I really like the app :-) I've been beta testing for months now. I use it to enter and vote/comment more often than I use the desktop version, because I have my phone on me more often than I sit at my desk. It's convenient, and it has some really nifty features. I suggest Android people give it a whirl and see what they think. Some are going to prefer it, some are going to prefer the big screen of a desktop. It's just nice to have the choice. Thank you, Mita!
