I have been experimenting a bit with different ISO settings with the D70, but the ISO settings are not showing in the exif data. I could always find that data with the exif from the Olympus c5050z. I'm using Irfanview or PSP to read the exif info.
Does anyone know if this data (ISO setting) is recorded with the D70? How can I get at it if it is?
Also, would exif record which lens you're using at the time of taking the picture? All I can find on that is "focal length".
Thanks in advance,
Ursula

It's in this thread. The info is there, but it's stored in a not entirely standard position in the EXIF data, therefore Nikon software will find it, other software will not. At least, that's what I understand from that thread.

That is the same problem I was running into, and it is like nicoledb said, it is in there, but not in the standard position. Check out that other thread. What program are you using to pull out the EXIF data?

if you browse over to www.dpreview.com and do a search in their Nikon D70 forum for EXIF fix, you will find that someone has written alittle script that will grab the ISO from the hidden spot and put it in the spot that we are all used to seeing...I used it and it works great. |

Thank you for the answers, and the link to the other thread. I'll have to check that "fix". I usually read exif in IrfanView or in PSP.

I have to use my Olympus's program to view the ISO. *sighs* Whatever.
