I think I should have gone for black and white. My colour photos rarely come out right.

| I prefer the color version FWIW. The voters' response to your image was pretty lukewarm, but I suspect that can be attributed to the flat lighting and the generally soft OOF feeling of the image. |

| You're probably right. The light there was awful and there were too many distractions in the background. |

| I'll be honest that I gave it a 5. I agree with Bear's assesment of the reason. I think a closeup of just the tree model could have been pretty cool looking. |

| Unfortunately the photos without the man had even more distractions in them. There were several people working on different trees at the same time. |
