| Fun idea, actually. I just put up a 2-day, open, speed challenge for it. Good luck to everyone who can see it and shoot it, it's due to be submitted tomorrow night :-) |

| It was a beautiful eclipse... for once we were not clouded out! I did not photograph it, just enjoyed the view. Was one of the darkest lunar eclipses I can remember. Apparently this may have been due to particulates still high in the atmosphere from the Tonga eruption. |

| We got a break in the clouds just before totality and managed to view it as well. It was quite lovely. I snatched some hand-held, phone-cam shots but had neither the time nor the energy to set up a real camera on a tripod, and of course the drone was a no-go for that application :-) |

If you could just get it high enough (say, the lunar surface) you'd be able to photograph a solar eclipse ... ;-) |
