Well guys, I've made the leap and got the D70! :-D
I guess I was part of team Nikon before with my trusty Coolpix... but now I'm in the big leagues!
It was backordered to my wazzu here in Ottawa so I went to my favorite store in Montreal to get it (L.L.Lozeau). And what's nice is that they're moving next week so everything is 10% or 15% off until Sunday!!! Woohoo!
I got the kit lens and the Sigma 105mm f2.8 macro (I hope to give my bud "macro" Jacko a bit of competition ;-))
Ok, time to go back to the lovely 200 page manual.

yippeeee, yanik! wanna pick me up one too? That's the one I'm buying when my tax return comes in (if anything is left after paying bills..)

Hey Ursula! Congrats on yours!! Hehehehehehe.... Lili has my CoolPix now... if she's realllllllllllllllly nice I might let her look at it. ;-)

Just wondering if there is a way to check on the brand (team) that has won the most ribbons on this site, I think it would be a close call between all the top makers and i do have to include the SONY TEAM.
has to be these 4 in the runnings
NIKON
CANON
SONY
OLYMPUS
that is not in any order just a list, loyalty makes me believe the SONY TEAM have it in the bag. :D
