Well, I finally decided to try a (simple) border and add a sig for a printable pic. All went well until I resized the image to post in my portfolio, guess what, I saved it over the printable file!

Guess I'll have to start over :(

btw, anyone know its name please?

I did the same thing with one of my photos, which happens to be one that is well liked (quadrants & buds) - I know how you feel. I don't know the name of that flower but it is a wild one - wild in the sense that it is crazy looking - not in the sense that it grows without cultivating. I have a large flower book at home, I'll see if I can name it for you and let you know.

Thanks Emma & Jo, I guess its a lesson to me.

I didn't quite get the colour the same but the crop is pretty similar, thoughts about the sig on this one? should I revert to white?

Eeek ! I feel for you. I did the exact same think this weekend with a photo I took at the zoo Saturday. Of course, it was one of my top five favorites of the 200 photos I took. It was of a Meerkat that was laying out flat looking right into the camera. Sorry it happened to you as well.

Hi Ecce, I think you should revert to the white signature :)

Would be a good idea if you work on a copy and keep the originals intact.

Thanks for the replies :) I reckon white is best too, I had done another print just after and used green. I don't work on the orig (have learnt thatone already) and reckon I save a ps version to keep all the layes seperate.
