When you say you don't like the way you used "X" technique in the processing......and you didn't. Or various other critiques that directly contradict the image creator's intent. I've had that happen.
To me, it seems that comments are better made that express the personal impression the image had upon you and why rather than criticizinbg something that you don't like or suggesting how to "fix" something that later turns out to be intentional.
That, of course, is also simply my own preference and opinion......YMMV.

The only example I can see would be making an assumption that an entrant had done something illegal in terms of editing that turned out to be perfectly legal.
But we are not supposed to make these assumptions when we vote, much less express them as comments on the image :) |
