		Does anyone have this lens?
An example of the extremely shallow DOF?

I'm thinking they can keep it for a while - too rich for my blood! |

 Heck, I have that problem at 2.8 @ 200mm...

The 85/1.2 is an expensive special-use lens.
Not a fast focuser, especially on the 10D.
Personally, for the speed, beautiful bokeh and size/weight
(not to mention pocketbook!) savings, the 1.8 does me just fine.
It's a beautiful lens at a reasonable price.

Agree 100%. Don't think because there is a 1.2 the 1.8 is crap - it's actually a top-rate lens, and comparable quality, if not better, than my 70-200/2.8 L range. |
