Just uploaded a few new pics to my portfolio. These were all taken with my FZ10, which I've had just over a week, any thoughts?

Yeah - don't know why, I'm looking into it. (Any ideas?) For now you can just click onmy name to see the images.
Thanks,
Ahh, I was using the Insert image button, and not the tumb button!

The thumbs are now ok. I really like "Letscrawl" - you captured a very unusual position. A comment on insects in general and the single color technique. There are a lot of both on the site - many voters make "bad" comments about tiring of them.

Lovely shots, it's a fine camera, isn't it? :-)
I think you can squeeze more sharpness out of these photos using USM though, without going overboard! |

These are really nice shots! I like the sharp focus of the first one, and the tones on the b/w worm (though I do wish it were just a bit sharper). Fun stuff.

Great bee shots... Bees in my yard are a little camera shy and can never seem to get a good shot of one! On the first pic, you may want to dodge or saturate the colors a little to make him stand out more.
On the 4th pic, I really like that one. Great job seperating the yellow flower out leaving the b&w water around it. |

Thanks for all the comments :)
The trick with bees is to have plenty of time, and not to mind throwing a lot of shots away, the other thing I've noticed is that they linger more over larger flowers (more pollen I assume?) so it's easier to shot them.
I'll try playing around with the colours with the first one and let you know how it goes.
I wish the worm were sharper too :) it looked fine in the camera, by the time I noticed and wanted to take another he'd gone!
Bobster USM? I can't work out what this stand for, can you enlighten me please? |

Gareth - UnSharp Mask is a function of Photoshop. Very useful for making crisp photos. |

UnSharp Mask, thanks :) I have used that, but wasn't aware of that's what USM was. |
