I've been working hard recently on a semi-automated method of ordering pics from the sports photography site I run with two friends.

I'd be delighted to hear any thoughts people have.

Just had a look, loads really quickly. Nice idea, I know its still a 'work in progress' but a couple of things I'd maybe change...

Don't display the items that have not been ordered on the invoice
Make the 'order' form an email order
When an item is added to the order maybe add a 'close window' link?

Good work, I can imagine how many hours you have spent on this, playing with websites bought my 300D, 75-300 IS USM and just financed my 28-135 IS USM, in the end it will all be worth it :)

ahh - perl - always makes for a pleasing display :}

well being a bit sarcastic there. i would try to make the process take less clicks, and less eye movement...

i would also maybe use an html form to guide the order process, and send the info to perl to digest, and verify, and spit out a printable invoice that is also emailed to you, and the customer. and maybe something like php to drive the loading of the images into the form pages, from the database. again not an expert, but i think the combination would make for a more enticing looking, and user friendly enviroment.
