2:1 aspect ratio (a.k.a. the wiener-dog portrait challenge)
Present a photo that has been cropped to a 2:1 aspect ratio. The photo can be in landscape or portrait orientation.
This would be a bit of a free study, but there are definitely subjects that are complimented by this sort of framing. I figure that 1:2 is enough to be different from the usual, but still alows enough pixels in the photo under the 640-pixel maximum limit. |

I'm sorry ... I have a recent entry which was done in the 2:1 format ... overall I think it's a very good idea! In fact, I remember recent additions to the topic list for "aspect ratio" in general ... square, 2:1, >2:1 panoramic, etc. |
