Just a quick question. If im getting a little blur in a picture because the bug is moving should i use a higher ISO? Would that get me a faster shutter speed?

Thank you all in Advance.

For handhelding 35mm cameras a rule of thumbs was 1/focal length. F. inst. Using 50mm lens then you can shoot at 1/50 without risking motion blurr.
Think this rule can be used for digital SLR to. But using any kind of suport can bring the shutter speed down and also lenses with image stabilaser.

I think your statement should be modified slightly - "For handhelding 35mm cameras a rule of thumbs was 1/focal length. F. inst. Using 50mm lens then you can shoot at 1/50 without risking motion blur with a stationary subject. In other words, that shutter speed should remove the "human" cause of blurring. If the subject is moving as well - that adds a totally new dimension.

Of course, car driving vertically on your plan of the photo at 100 km/h (~60 mph) moves half a meter (~1,5-2 feets) while exposing for 1/50s.
