Anyone know good or bad about THIS lens?
Or THIS one??? I would be more interested in seeing examples of pics taken with this lens. Price is more within my price range right now.
Anyone have photo examples with taken with these lenses used on 10D or Digital Rebel that you could post?

I've had the 100-300 for about 2 weeks now. Love it.
Looks good, feels good, weighs a ton!
Most of my shooting so far has been with the 2x extender I got with it (for free!), but the quality still blows away my old 70-300.
A few (rough - I can't be arsed spending time on test shots) comparison shots here.
The people shots in here were with the lens on its own, while the head on car shots were with the extender again.
This shot is a crop (not 1:1 and it has been sharpened) from a shot without the extender.
Finally, all the duck shots here were with this lens & the extender.
That enough for ya? ; )
I couldn't be happier with this lens. When I get my technique right, and the shutter speed high enough, the results are fantastic.
Rated quite highly on the Lens Test Guide too. |

It's a good lens based on my limited experience with it. I used it for one afternoon and got some very pleasing results.
