For your interest:

I haven't dealt with this site, so cannot vouch for them. Bear in mind - software is shipped from Europe, without the fancy box packaging and documentation. Click the faq link at the top of the page to learn more.

This is just a fancy storefront for a piracy operation. Read the FAQ:

You get the CD(s) with the software in jewel case and labels. You also get the activation key, serial number or cd key necessary to activate the software. Note, that you will not be able to register the software with the manufacturer and get their support, but we will do our best to support you any way possible.

In other words, "we burn a copy of the CD on our CD writer, print out a label, provide a "warez" code/crack/hack to make it work and pocket $99 in profit"

These are likely illegal copies.

On a side note - I think I've yet to find a legitimate .biz domain..

In my opinion, the software will work but it's not authentic or legitimate. It's probably a counterfeit install cd along with a bogus installation code that's already been used 5,000 times. You'll run into problems if you ever try to register the software or upgrade to Photoshop CS because CS will recognize the previous installation code as fraudulent.

The reason you don't get the manuals is not because it's OEM software. You don't get the manuals because they're cost prohibitive to counterfeit.

Ray, I would edit your comment out if I were you.
The reply will not go down too well here.

It's people like you who drive up the cost of software. I can't believe you are so proud of this that you have to brag about it as well. Geesh

What they probably do is purchase a "Corporate Edition" for each of the software apps they are selling, like Windows XP, VS .NET, etc. which all require activation using the CD Key. And the key they get when they purchase these expensive packages allows 100, 500, or 1000 lincense for example. So what they probably do is distribute the burned copy along with the same CD Key, over and over, up to the allowed limit (if there is a limit), then simply buy another version when the limit has been reached, and keep doing this over and over.

You'd think that Microsoft would get smart about this (if they haven't already), and require that activation using a particular CD Key is only allowed from a particular IP Address range. So the first activation of a Key would record the IP address and then require that all subsequent installations/activations come from the same general IP range. This would only be for "Corporate Editions", not for single user licenses. Although this would present a lot of other problems with people complaining that their "corporation" isn't within just one IP range, or what if their IP changes, etc., etc. Tough problem. :)

All, and I mean all, the major software packages are sold at car boot sales here in the uk every Sunday in the thousands and no registration neccessary, they are all " cracked " and sell for £5 or 3 for £10.
It seems to be a very thriving industry, they get raided and just return the week after.
As a legitimate trader (not software I add) I gave up because punters only wanted the pirated goods, software, dvd, music, video, you name it ,they had it.
