I just wanted to say that during one of the current challenges, "ccraft" gave me a very detailed, in depth critique as her comment for me and I really appreciated the time this took her, and the thought. A lot of it I knew about the photo, becasue I am guilty of submitting photos that I know the defects but enjoy having something entered (I know I am not the only one, too), which is my fault -- but even still, it is helpful to have it really laid out again and in a very thoughtful but direct way. Thank you ccraft! I am posting this instead of using PM because I think it is good for people to hear that HONEST comments are truly appreciated by many of us.

| I agree. CCraft also gave me some very helpful criticism on my entry fo multiple light sources. I did PM, but your right...it is good for people to hear that comments and suggestions can be very helpful! Thanks Kylie for pointing that out...and Thanks CCraft for the education. Oh and thanks to DPC for the platform to exchange info! |

| Thanks so much for the comments. I have been slow at work so I decided to leave a comment on everyone's entry in the sports challenge. I didn't see this posting until now though. I'm glad my feedback was taken okay. I realize we're all trying here and it's very difficult to submit somethign and wonder why you receive the marks you're receiving (whether they're high or low). | I'd like to make mention of two photographers that I admire, not only because of their photography, but also because of the time they take with their thoughtful and accurate critiques. They are e301 and Zeuszen. I learn as much from reading their critiques about photography as I do from anything else, and I often use their critique of an image as a standard to compare my own and others' against. Good job guys. |
