You have a mode dial on your 7D, and you can use it to store custom settings. I set up all my minimal parameters (contrast, ISO, Aperture Priority, saturation, everything I want to set, plus auto-bracket in 1/2 stop intervals 5 exposures, set it for JPG) and save it as C1 on my Sony. Now all I have to remember to do is move the dial for minimal and I'm good to go :-) |
Is that to increase your chances of getting the right exposure? |

Great idea. The "remembering" part is the most problematic one ;) |

Wait... the custom function can store the jpeg part?? I shot for awhile last night, and of course forgot to change it from raw to jpeg. So I can set the jpeg in the c1 and never have to remember to change back and forth if I remember the c1??
Oh wait, you said sony... I'll have to go check the 7d
Yup. Can do it on the 7D. Now we need another minimal challenge so I can see if I remember to use c1. :)

I think it should be a special brown for taking brown in a challenge titled 'A mess'!
Plus, it was short of my personal worst by 2 pictures... |
