Does anyone have an image of a male and a female Ruby Throated Hummingbird that I could download and print (just small) for a child to take to school tomorrow? I have a young lady staying with me a few days a week and she needs to have them for class. Promise no violations of copyright (she is 11) and great amounts of gratitude. Anne

Thanks so much - I will print them up wallet size and she will be thrilled. I'm enjoying having a lively young mind around - gets my old one working.

One thing to say about this. Google IS your friend!

Hi Anne,

You are welcome to use any of my photos of hummingbirds for your friend's school project.
I'm not sure which is the female ruby throated, though. I seem to have a couple different varieties at my feeders.

Best Regards,

Marjo/Marj Shockley

P.S. I tried to send you an email but it was returned to me.
