I've only recenlty discovered the usefulness of this tool (in spite of having actual darkroom experience where dodging and burning are pretty commonplace).

Here are some photos I took today. Feedback and advice are much appreciated. I'm aware that downtown.jpg is a bit noisy. I'm still experiencing inconsistancies with my camera and have pretty much come to the conclusion it needs to be retired. I'm also curious how these look on individual monitors. I made these on my Mac G3 with typical Mac monitor settings. They look fine to me on my Powerbook.

I left some comments. You probably won't like them. :) No offense, I just don't sugar coat things since you asked for feedback.

Not at all (am I offended). I appreciate the time and the comments. I really do want some feedback. My husband seemed reluctant to give me an answer other than, 'it's a nice photo'. My daughter enthusiastically liked the shot of the Bay and said she didn't think the highlights looked fake on the Downtown shot or she would have noticed right away. Neither of them noticed the tilt on the Downtown shot. I'm surprised no one mentioned the tilt on the Bay shot because it was really bugging me. :-D

Thanks!
