I signed up. It's free.
For the first assignment in Advanced Digital Photography Techniques, I was given the choice of 3 assignments,
"Creative Shutter Speed Experiments
Using the Shutter Priority mode on your camera, try at least one of the following three experiments:
* Photograph a subject where you are panning (or following the subject) so your shutter speed is just at the point where the subject is relatively focused and the background motion is blurred.
* Capture a drop of water freeze-framed in midair from the faucet. If you have a bit of shutter lag time, this can really test your anticipation and reflex.
* Replicate the office g-force experiment as shown in Figure 1-3."
To test my knowledge, I clicked on the "assignment completed" button and was told that I had finished the assignment.
Obviously, this site will give ideas about how to practice technique and is beneficial. As for anything else, ..., well try it for yourself.
