I have a 10D, and bought this card, as well as:
2x Sandisk 256MB UltraII cards.

I have never had an error with the Sandisks, but I get this:

With the PQI "40X" card, I get "Error_02" showing in the top-lcd display on the camera.
I got this error ALOT after about a week of buying the card.

So i got it replaced. The new one does the same thing.

Just 2 days ago, it happened in the field. My shots were ruined.

Does anyone have any similar experiences??
Cheers.

Have you tried fomatting the card?

Well, the first card wouldn't format, wouldn't work at all.
Funny, because the card had been in my padded camera bag all the time. I pulled it out and the thing would not work at all.

The second one (current) can be used, and formatted, but is very unreliable, and will show the error at any moment.

The supplier says he has been using the 256MB equivalent of this card for months, without a hitch. (do i beleive him??)

Could the problem be with incompatability???

Are you formatting with your camera ? or pc?
I ALWAYS format in camera after I have saved the pics to pc....every time.
I have twice had a problem with new cards and each time was able to fix them by dragging a pic from pc to the card (the card acts like it is just another drive) and then I was able to format it in the camera. Before, the camera thought the new card was unusable.
Hope this helps.

Yeah, I always format with the camera. I did this 4 times on Saturday. (2 days ago - Sydney time)

But I NEVER see this problem with my Sandisk UltraII cards. I can format these ones on the PC, and no problem in the camera.

Damn PQI....
