Convey the mood of a George Jones song... devotion that defies betrayal and bows only to death... a wanton drunkenness that is somehow both desperate and fully alive... country music at its most operatic, or celebrate the man himself and a life that sometimes lived up to his songs.

Loretta's son Ernest Ray Lynn was singing in the band that I was part of back around 79-80. He was a bit out of control too, but did make it to most of the gigs.
