What do you mean possible?

EDIT: Wait, do you mean attaching a lens made for a sigma camera to a canon camera?

If the lens fits on the camera. I'm sorry if i sound brusque but it's kinda important.

Thanks, and Sorry,
Lee

No, I don't think it does because it has a different mount.

You can mount Sigma lenses on the DRebel as long as the lens has a Canon mount.

Ok thanks so far...not what i want to hear heh, but thanks...is there a way, like an adapter, that it would be able to fit?

This lens is "for Sigma SA" which means it fits the Sigma mount system. Canon uses the "EOS" or "EF" system, so it doesn't fit.

yea pretty sure most sigmas fit on canons...check with the manufacturer..probably on their website

That lens is made for Sigma SA series film cameras. Most likely it will also work with Sigma digitals. You may even be able to get an EOS adapter for it but it in all probablity it will only work in manual focus mode.

Do you know where I could get one of these?

This is pretty close, but for Canon

Would this work for you, Tranquil? It's made for the D. Rebel.

I've been doing some web searches since this thread started and I can't seem to locate this type of adapter. Seems like the best thing to do would be, if you already bought/own this lens, to sell it and buy an equivalent lens that has a canon mount.

What about this lens? It's got the Canon mount its a faster lens and it's $10 cheaper. You lose 100mm but if you throw a 1.4x convertor on it you'll still get good results. Just a thought.

Alright. Thanks guys. I guess I might have to part with ol' beauty. Unfortunately, the next step up (the 500) is $4,000. So its either I get a 300...which is still respectable, but is still going to cost me a couple hundred off of the resale price, or i just keep the lens. Or sell it and get a few other lenses (like the 50 1.8). Well that's my thought process. I'll try to figure it out.

Thanks again,
Lee

Oh...

Is anyone interested in buying THIS lens?

PM me your price. It comes with a UV Filter and is in nearly perfect condition. Leave a message here if you are interested at all!

Thanks,
Lee
