| I've looked online and can't seem to find an answer to this. Is there a hotkey for rotating brush tips in CS6? I know you can open the brush submenu and change the angle, but that's so cumbersome to do every time you want to change the direction of the brush... |

| Why don't you create some custom Actions for the ones you use most? |

Yeah... I'll have to first learn how to create actions.... :)
Besides, wouldn't that be brush specific? I want something that would rotate any brush |

Even I can do that!
Not sure if it would be brush-specific -- probably depends where you stop the process ... not sure if I can check on my version of PS ... |

| Customize it rotating the brush and save the new preset. If you use that brush a lot, save the four angles. I don't think you can have a shortcut to do what you want. |

ETA: It looks like you could write a script to do what you want (or almost anything else) -- check out the documentation in the Scripting Guide folder inside the Photoshop application folder.
