Perhaps we could extend this to Fall/Spring botany for all members south of the equator.
I live in Brisbane, Australia. We don't have seasons - the best I can do is our stunning jacaranda blooms in late September/early October, but at least that would be better than to be excluded totally.
We pay our fees, too........ lets attempt to be fair.

Maybe this should be Signs of Fall/Spring 2015? Same description. Giving a month to locate the right picture...

ETA: Seasons 2015

Occasionally it is suggested that we do an Equinox Challenge which would work for all the hemispheres.
Perhaps this would be another way to look at the botany-type challenge.

It would be enormous fun to try to take the definitive picture of the Equinox. Advanced Editing, of course.

I'm not sure what to name it...but I'd like it to be 1 month long to find the best possible pictures. Advanced Editing.

And yes, this will be some kind of a FS...JUST to get THAT out of the way (rolling my eyes)...lol

Oops. I missed the Equinox challenge, so I'll now refrain from whingeing.

Does anyone know if the colors start changing along Skyline Drive in Shenandoah by October 10? That's when we'll be there.

Bear in mind this is coming from a Florida Kind of Gal....Anything that isn't green is "fall colors"...lol

That might be a tad late but you never know. Usually the fall colors are in their full glory in New England around that time. But I'm sure you'll find pockets of color here n there. Plus don't you live in an area that has color? (again, anything other than green is color to me!!!)

Oh, we get color. But I sure don't live near any scenery like the Blue Ridge Mountains.

Hopefully that's accurate... it's why the challenge is 8 weeks long..
