I will however state if I feel something is DNMC though, even if it's a great photo.

I'll make sure to mark those as helpful.

I've taken this all on board and will asses my thinking.

Thanks for your input.

i haven't participated much on the challenge side of things for years, but when i was commenting, i was doing it more for myself, mainly to force myself to slow down and actually see the image i was looking at. i never gave a rats ass as to whether the recipient found them helpful. ymmv ;-)

I have a few points Neat.
1) You must be commenting on the wrong photos as I seek the type of feedback you describe as I do want to improve. I have ticked all but 2 comments received as these did not appear to have taken any time to try to understand what I was trying to do.
2) You clearly have considerable skill and it would be a shame if you choose not to share this.
3) As a newbie I find the forums surprisingly quiet for such an active community. More comments would promote more dialogue and overcome the cliquey feel that there is a little here on dpchallenge (just sayin'!). I am still finding my way around here.
4) If people are giving you unnecessary flame surely there is a way to deal with this if needed.
5) Its not the comments that I feel sensitive about but the scores I get.

Hope this is encouraging to you.
