I'm trying to actually create a site that clients can browse. Up until now, the 4-5 shoots that I've done, I've just stuck in a folder.
I've just started working on it, and I've already run into a problem. I just want to add another content block to the page underneath the folders. It may be a slideshow, galleries, not sure yet, but I can't add a content block to the page. When I added the folders, I dragged that content block onto the title part, and it gave me 4 arrows so I could chose to place it above, below, to the left or to the right. Now when I try any content block, it just shows me a circle with a line through it and I can't place it anywhere on the page.
Do you have any idea what's happening? I'm really not figuring out the new smugmug, that's why I haven't bothered doing anything with it since they upgraded. Now I have to. I have to set this up by tomorrow night.
Thanks in advance! |

Are you doing this in the HTML Editor?
or the drag and drop method they offer? |

I'm using the tutorials, too, and they show that I should get the four arrows that appear, that just doesn't happen anymore.
I'm using the drag and drop method |

That also says to drag it on the page, but I can't do that part. :( |

Ok -- I figured it out. I couldn't drag a gallery onto the page, because galleries had sub options of folders, galleries, etc. I just saw gallery and tried to drag it over. Once I expanded the list, I grabbed that gallery and could drag it over.
Sigh. I'll get this figured out someday.
Thanks for helping me talk it through! |
