i heard in the battle of canon vs nikon, nikon needed some reinforcements.. so i figured i would help by posting some stop action i have shot today... comments are welcome..

shot at 1/1000th of a second at 6.3 f stop... with 2000 watts of halogen lamp power reflected off of the wall right behind the glass...

Those are great! Canons would have shot them more symmetrical though.

yeah i forgot to turn on my camera's "force symmetry on reality" button... nikon ship with that feature from factory.. also my d70 shipped with a mecahnical arm that extends from the top of the flash that drops things into water in sync with shutter :P

thanks jacko for the comment...

Nice Theo..

lol @ Jacko!

What lens did you use? also what lighting?

I find it really hard to do stop motion studio shots, only because of the lack of light for fast shutter speed (I use two 100 watt desklamps).

Not sure what you are asking. Are you asking if the "stop action" shots you posted look OK? If so, they do to me. :) Are you asking if Nikon has a picture quality issue when using fast shutter speeds?
