really? I make a joking post,in which i reference miley cyrus, not saying anything anywhere about "dinging" people for using a title i listed and you reply with:

"So someone finds the site, finds an open challenge with the topic of "Your City" and enters a photo of the downtown entitled "Downtown" and you (collectively) plan to ding it a point or more because the newbie wasn't aware of your prejudicial "title exhaustion"?

I'm constantly amazed at how many people here want to tell other people what they should do, rather than merely commenting on what they've done."

and I'm taking this too seriously?

I was responding to Don's post, not yours. Don't take offense where none is directed -- and I agree about Miley Cyrus, so much so that I've never seen her perform at all ...

However, I would like to point out that the day for jokes like this was yesterday, and I am really sick of people here telling everyone else how they should vote, how they should process, and I am not particularly amused by following a discussion of how people should title their photos -- it might have been funny yesterday but far less so today.

Just think of all the horrible things said at a roast. Unseemly, offensive things but the context is that of friendship. Yet one borderline tweet or comment in a forum, and look-out! The inherent downfall of digital communications.

Anyway, titles are funny things. Don't make it too obvious or too cliché ... but ambiguous titles are overused. Personally, I have no problem with "Untilted" - which I've used a few times I think. Or was it Unti/ted?

personally, I find "Medicine: disease, infection, laboratory, culture, bacteria, microbiology" way over-used. These days, you can't look at the front page without seeing it.

You'll hate this entire gallery then ... these are all made by modifying the results of flip/blend images.

quite the the contrary. I don't hate any of those. I only ding for borders in voting. personal preference.

Maybe we should have a sticky post to let newbies know.
