what'S up with all the advanced editing challenges lately? as a paying member i'd like to see more expert, there currently are none in voting or accepting submissions.

Expert editing is great provided it's part of the right challenge.

BWHWWHHWAHAHAHAHA!~

Shit stirrer. You and I both know you've not entered an expert challenge for well over six months. (closer to 9 isn't it?)

And in that same period we've had more expert challenges than ever before.

I'm sorry, I just can't take your suggestion seriously because it's obvious you really don't like Expert NEARLY as well as you claim to.

If you want it so bad, why are there not "suggestions" being made?

I would LOVE to hear your cool ideas and suggestions so that way more opening eyes and out of the box ideas can be created and thought of so we can have something to shoot for.

On the first page of the challenge suggestions, I do not see your name listed as a "creator" except for this thread.

I love the challenge of expert lately, its fun finally understanding what the Photoshop tools can do and playing would help gain what is being learned.

For a "Challenge Suggestion" thread, there is no actual suggestion here, either.

I agree some topics lend themselves to composites and text. However, maybe I just need to clone out people or an object to get the look I want. Maybe a filter would enhance the mood. There are many reasons to use expert editing other than making composites.

opening up advanced to be more liberal would be so beneficial this place in so many ways...

Liberal Advanced?

I would actually support a ruleset that was limited to one frame, and allowed for the aggressive removal of items, or mirroring/cloning of items from within one frame, I think the rule should say something like "maintain at least a loose integrity of image character" - in other words, no photographing a dozen printed photos at high resolution and then building your image, essentially make sure there is at least a reasonable resemblance between the starting photo and the final result.

That would honestly be super cool

I love that idea!! Just to have something to where we could do just a tad bit more than just the regular advanced like that, I would go for that too!

I miss many shots and refuse to enter certain because of that reason not being able to do something.

Go start a new thread about that, and spend ten minutes thinking about the subject first. :)

Indeed, it would open up a whole new world to editing and make DPC more valuable and exciting!
