Doesn't surprise me... Expert Editing + very few entries. The number of Team Suck entries in other challenges is still reasonable and warrants maintaining the hotel. That said, I feel something needs to be done to re-invigorate Team-Suck activity.
Okay.... this coming week, I will comment (post challenge) on each Team Suck image... then I will pass on the baton to do likewise the following week. How's that sound? :) |

Great idea, still not sure why everyone seems to be afraid of expert editing. The top images are really great, but even in the lower scoring part there are some very nice photos. And when you're not trying you'll never win.
Btw. I'll go with you. It doesn't look as a problem to get 2 instead of 1 comment, I think ;)

hey, I took two whole days off without an update button -- THAT was pretty hard (I skipped Steampunk and Numbers) ... but I have entries in almost all of the other posted challenges. and though I've been getting more 5's lately, most of my scores are still in the 4's.
I'm not afraid of Expert -- just low on ideas and time last week ... |

I have an entry in Painterly Photo which I am sure will be in the high 4 to low 5 range.
Edit to add: My goal is to enter one challenge per week next year. We'll see how that goes!

Just wanted to give a general shout-out to my Suckmates and share.....
I found myself in the position to enter a decent shot that seemed to typify the general description for the Architecture challenge.
But for some reason, I entered this for a stellar 4.4400
Now that Capitol dome has all the qualifications of noteworthy architecture, elaborate design and mind-boggling detail, but for some odd reason, I just love that traffic light shot.
Yeah, it's obvious that it must be supported by that vertical bracket fastened to the crossbeam, but you can't actually see that. There was something about the striking simplicity of the design, and with the way that the sun lit it up, well......I just had to go with it.
Am I still TS material???
Edited to actually include the traffic light shot....LOL!!!
