I've seen his take on gun control before, he's hysterical. I disagree with him vehemently on political issues but still laugh at his humor. I made a choice decades ago to never let politics stand in the way of entertainment, as a staunch government hating libertarian I would be hard pressed to find entertainment if I let entertainers political views influence my choices.

What's wrong with entertainment and politics together? I think that is the best way to make people think about those issues.

I think we need to stop defending weapons on strictly a philosophical level. The amendment was written when "arms" were far less capable of what they are now. And maybe we should stop using the "slippery slope" excuse when it comes to setting some form of limitations.

Just because people want to cut down on armor-piercing ammo or reduce the number some insanely-fast murder machines doesn't mean they are trampling on someone's "right".

Comedians, to me, more often speak the truth than most people we see. He is no exception.

The part of the comment made that resonated with me was this:

Surely that is not the part that you consider comedic?
