This morning when checking my score as you do ... I noticed someone has requested a DQ so I have been asked to submit the original which I have done.... now the status is: "Status: Thank you for submitting your proof file. Your submission is being reviewed by the administrators and is pending further action."
What happens now and what̢۪s the timescale usually...
Cheers Tony

The Site Council will review the proof file against the reason for the DQ request(s) and make a ruling. It may take several days. If the ruling is "DQ" you will be notified, otherwise not. I believe if there is no DQ, they may place a "validated" admin note on the photo, but not sure if they always do this.

Usually a rather stern looking, larger gentlemean with a sidearm will show up at your house for a personal interview. If someone has cheated, statistics show a ten to fifteen minute beating is enough to get him/her to confess. If you last a full half hour, they give you the benefit of the doubt. He should be there any minute. Good luck, take some aspirin :)
... or what kirbic said might be right (if they've changed the system) |

lol.....thanks Hopper!
Here's hoping they go with what Kirbic says. But just in case I'm gonna hide under the bed and I've told 'the wife' to keep a look out! She'll send them packing if they come looking for me..... cos believe me she can be pretty scarey sometimes too!!!

I've phoned Bruno and told him to look under the bed. Bruno gets angry when he has to go looking... so you might get 45 minutes now.
Thanks for the tip!

Hey, can someone request a dq for my pic? not that I'm looking for a beating from Bruno but I do want to be put out of my (self induced) misery. My best submission by far, but harmed by human hand (of the ps type).

I'll tell her what you just said!!! She'll take up a new hobby of photography and 'borrow' your camera and lenses...
You'll never see them again!! |

And remember, amoung those deciding, there is at least ONE member of Site Council who either has a weird since of humor of what viewers want, or is a total nutcase. I suppose they are having fun though. |
