For all the other Fuji X-E2 shooters out there, they have just released the new firmware - biggest feature in my opinion is the addition of the Camera Remote app for IOS/Android/etc which allows remote control via the camera's built in wifi. I've played with it a little bit and it's pretty cool, a bit primitive and requires some patience because not all settings can be changed once you start the session, but has great potential.

I believe it was already out there for XT-1 shooters, but that camera has a new firmware version out as well.

Be advised that sometimes firmware updates will reset the date and time (although updating this time didn't do that for me) and anything you shoot might appear to be outside of challenge dates and get DQ'd.

Tested out the time lapse feature. Was having issues getting Lightroom to export the frames into a video (progress bar seemed stuck at just a sliver and wasn't spinning up my fan or seeming to do anything), but I found an open source program called Time Lapse Assembler that worked well. I had previously used Quicktime Pro to assemble them when I was using Windows, but I don't still have the registration key.

Not sure what caused the flickering thing, might have been the changing light conditions but I'll have to test it in more conditions to see.
