I think they are very "dreamy" takes, invoking that type of response. Sometimes I am drawn to these, other times to a more contrasty/high color image. But they are absolutely beautifully executed. My favorite of yours in your Portfolio is your Balconies that wasn't the challenge entry. That is the ONE for me! Added you to my favirites.

I will try to be kind but also offer some constructive suggestions. :) The focus and perspective are good. I like the foreground objects framing the view in the second shot. I think these shots could be improved with better lighting. The mid-day light looks a little harsh in these and washes out some of the color. I think the softer light around dawn or susnset would add a lot of warmth to these views as well as some interesting shadows and contrasts. |

Thanks Kyle,I am indeed flattered.
I tend to agree on the balcony one too.worth a print maybe?
Ryan, I totally agree on the lighting , it was 11.00 am but the timetable I was on just landed me there at that time, and not just that I could have gone back when you say but, if you saw the road I had to negotiate you wouldn't venture up or down it only in perfect light :)
Thanks again for your feedback.
Paul.

I know what you mean. I am never motivated enough to make it to the really scenic areas by sunrise either! I guess I will never be a pro... |
