I just got back from a trip to Okinawa during Golden Week. Here are some highlight shots. What do you think?

I like the two beach shots. Looks like a really nice day. Beautiful clouds. Totem pole is really cool. Hope you were able to find an "Usually Viewpoint" entry also.

What's Golden Week?

Golden Week is this time when there are a lot of public holidays all in a row. This time around you could take 3 days off work and get 11 days free total with the holidays and weekends.

Like Faidoi, I like the 2 beach shots.

Unfortunately for the Viewpoints challenge, GW is now long gone.

First of all, I think that I'm extremely jealous that you were able to go to Okinawa during Golden Week. I live in Tokyo, but I had to return to the States during Golden Week.

And speaking of jealous, those were some nice shots you took while you were there - very bright and colorful. The horizon on the beach shots might not be perfectly parallel, but that's an easy fix. Thanks for sharing your photos.

Did you have to go to the beach to get the magic marker off?

HEE, NO BEACH WAS PRE-MAGIC MARKER ACTUALLY. BUT I COULDN'T GET THE "AM"S OFF MY HEELS FOR ABOUT A WEEK!
