So I suck at full length portraits. So I avoid them and do the head shots.
That, and outdoors makes it a little more difficult, as well.
So do a full length, outdoor portrait. Make sure it's about the person, not the surroundings. We're not talking silhouettes, etc., but portraits that happen to be full length. |

Definitely not!! As long as it's outdoor, you can use whatever lighting you want. I'm hoping to use ambient and artificial together. |

This might mesh well with the suggestion of using the well-suited "Brenizer Method", but as mentioned would require a Special Rule to allow stitching and ultiple originals.
Originally posted by Cory: Take a photo that utilizes the Brenizer method to emulate a large format image using a digital camera and stitching technique.
This will need a special rule to allow for stitching and a greater number of originals.
*****
Brenizer Method - Advanced Editing
Use the Brenizer Method to create an image with that special feel of large format film.
*SPECIAL RULE: Stitching is allowed - Images are limited to no more than 30. |

Paul I think that would hinder what Wendy is trying to accomplish. Getting better at outdoor full length portraits. which I agree are hard on their own, but adding that method may kill a bunch of entries.

Good point. I think the other is already in the queue somewhere anyway ...
Any other "restrictions" before adding this to the list, e.g. portrait of a living human (no sqirrels)? Tt would be Advanced editing unless specified otherwise ... |
