I really wanted to do something wonderful for Emilie's nursery. Just didn't get any ideas. Kept waiting for something wonderful. It didn't come. Still trying to do something, but even my dumb idea isn't really working out. Will try to have something, though! Emilie should be welcomed into the fold!

Mine's been in for days and days. Not in for the win, but in for the presence, which is all that matters. Babies like pretty pictures :-)

I took 'expert editing' to mean 'practice time'

:)

Been terribly busy but really wanted to enter something to celebrate. So again a last minute entry but I'm in.

It has to be pretty for the baby to like it?!?!? Now you tell me!

I have an entry in but don't expect I'll score well.
Haven't entered in a while so need to get my feet wet.

I'm in! I hope it gets a smile or two! Nothing expert about it but I couldn't miss entering this one.

I hoped to enter but could not come up with a good, creative idea for this one. Between no ideas and little time this weekend, I've got nothing in. I look forward to seeing the entries.

I'm in. Wasn't sure I was going to enter - but I was out shooting for my sister and had a few shots that a little girl might like so figured I'd get myself in a challenge this week.

i think many, like myself, were a bit daunted at the prospect. i kept thinking i had to do an image of a room decorated and ready for Emilie, not "something you could add as a decoration to her room"...
this one intimidated me a little too much, those are some big shoes to fill, and i feel like a toddler trying to put on my dad's shoes when it comes to this challenge :)

No time myself, and with the advanced challenges it was very overwhelming and extremely intimidating for me to have all of them on top of each other like this..

I might enter in one or so for the most part, I am passing pretty much passing up the current challenges..

Julie I can understand being intimidated but don't let your inexperience stop you from progressing. No one is going to ridicule you for trying, except for maybe Garry :)

Use these challenges to experiment and dont worry about the scores this site is meant to help us become better and the only way to do that is to go out and shoot!!! So grab your camera and go take some pictures!!!!

What Damon said! AND, just remember that the Expert rule set ALLOWS you to do a bunch of things. It doesn't REQUIRE you to do composites and other tricky stuff. Lots of people enter "advanced" editing images into expert challenges.

In addition, there are things you already do in your pp'g which would fall under the "expert" rule set: cloning out portions of the image, copying portions of the image, adding text, etc. This is an opportunity to try out something new.
