Does anyone know if you can reverse the direction of the swirl in the "twirl" option?

Don't know if it is possible. If it turns out that it is not, I can think of one way to fake it. Flip the image horizontally, apply it, then flip back.

Someplace in the 200+ pages of code which comprise the filter there must be a command to control that, but I couldn't find it.

Adobe should have a developer kit available for people to write plug-ins and filters ..

"To twirl pixels counterclockwise, hold down Alt (Windows) or Option (Mac OS) as you hold down the mouse button or drag."

There was a Forensic Files case or something similar where they did just such a thing...no, child molester...anyway, they took a photo that had been 'swirled' and reversed it and got the guy.

be careful, if you twirl too much, you might create unrealistic expectations on impressionable young women.

You can also type a negative number into the filter dialog where you enter degrees ...

double-click Twirl Tool > change Twirl Rate to a "-" number
