Well, I know this is a long and busy weekend for some of us.
That's why I went in and polished off all the request in the queue - except one.
For some reason, it was not available to me.
Wonder why? (How do you do the evil eye in emoticoms)

In the last two weeks 92 images were critiqued in depth by 10 of us.
Nice work!
Right now, there are still two in the queue and another roll over is scheduled tonight.
That's when they will go away back into the very long line.

Congratulations, people!

In the short time the Critique Club has resumed operation, 104 images have been critiqued
in depth by eleven members of DPC who are also members of the Club.

The current Queue is empty and rollover is on again tomorrow.

With this milestone, I'll stop the reminders I've been sending out with the thought that these critiques are so very welcome by our participants.

So, those who are doing them: Well done!

And those who could be doing them: Contact Site Council for more information.

Finally, for those who could use the extra help, tick the Critique box when you submit your entry. we'll see what we can do!

AFAIK there is no way to actually "pass" on an image, but you might instead write a (brief) note about why you feel stuck (which may actually be a "critique in disguise"), and pass along the image ID# to another willing CC member who can write something further ...

rianBotes was accepted into the Critique Club and posted his first critique.
So, I looked at it, and what a great review this DPCer wrote.

Which reminds me, any one of the members of the Critique Club can also click that option,
and get your image reviewed by another member. (No, you don't get your own to review.)

Meanwhile, with one day to go, there's only one lonely request in the current file, and
yes, those 65,000 in the 'pending' queue.

Way to go, folks.

Has the newly energetic Critique Club gone dormant again?

A few days ago there were more than 10 folks doing critiques.

But according to the stats, only five critiquers have done critiques in the last two weeks
and there are 11 members who have just asked for one!

(You'll never catch up with the Critique leader at this rate - heh heh_)

I have not gone dormant. My computer is currently on the fritz at home so I am having to sit out until I complete the build on my new one.

I had been traveling for two weeks then got a little sick. But thanks for the reminder - got back at it tonight. Too bad they can't come up with a periodic auto-email reminder that photos are awaiting critiques.

I'm up to 19.

Had a couple of toughies lately that really challenged my ability to put thoughts into words. What a great experience.
