For those of us who travel a lot and don't want to take laptops and stuff on every trip, this would seem to be a great option for data storage. Sadly it appears to support SD cards only so those using CF cards are not so lucky.

There are SD-to-CF adaptors, very reliable, that let you shoot the much cheaper SD cards in a CF slot... o it would be doable I guess :-)

I don't have time to find and read the manual for that gadget right now, but since it has a USB port, wouldn't it be possible that you can simply plug in a USB card reader for your CF cards?

We used a previous incarnation of the Passport on our 6-week trip to Oz a couple of years ago. Amazing little product.
