| Sorry, but I must call "lame" on this suggestion. I have been one of the most active members of this community, voting 100% on almost ALL challenges since I have been here. Plus, I'm in the top 25 all time for comments given. Yet, I somehow still have less votes given than received. |

| I voted 26,000+ times and received 13,000+ votes all that tells me is that I need to enter more challenges. |

Think of it as a challenge for those who seldom enter, to get them more involved? I'm in the same boat as you, I'm way up in the stats but 40,000 votes behind... But I'm fine with this special challenge, why the heck not? |

As I said in one of the threads that "glad2badad" started after this one, there is a problem with this idea:
I could VERY quickly fly through several hundred photos and post "nice" on each one. That would bring my "comment" count up no problem. |

To  Beetle's point: This one's number of votes, not comments. And ideally, if Langdon ran one of these challenges, he would lock in the qualification requirements at the time of the announcement.
All that said, it's not likely we will see these types of limited challenges if it required any special coding restrictions. |

It would be interesting to see if the # of votes on the images is higher to the # of participant images
I've given 3x times the votes received
and 5x times the comments
