interesting contest to go along with the National Geographic Channel's "culture shock" week. too bad it's open only to US residents:

I really hate seeing this wording in the contest rules. " ALL entries become the property of the Sponsor." It could be worth it, IF you win a top prize, but otherwise, you are hosed.

thanks for the congrats! I'm still in shock (no pun intended). The photographs in the contest are amazing. Winning a brand new digital Rebel is pretty cool too :)
