This little piece of perfection arrived today. I never thought I'd see the day when I would own something like this!

Did you say WIN?
Congratulations, the M240 with a 50mm cron is a very powerful tool. there are some classic 3rd party lenses you can put with that for amazing results.
Might have a team Leica soon for the next TPL |

If you cannot afford this beauty, get the poor mans version a Panasonic. Leica makes the glass Panasonic makes almost everything else. Nice toy!!! |

I also shoot Olympus Micro4/3. I have the Leica 25mm 1.4 (50mm equiv). And the Panasonic 35-100 2.8 (70-200). Both are outstanding with Leica like image qualities.

Would you like me to send you a care package that includes dried beans, beef jerky, and banana chips? Don't forget the water out of the tap is free.
If you no longer have electricity the beans can be sprouted with the free water.

Just entered my first challenge with the new camera!
Shooting style is a lot different with the rangefinder focusing. It's been a while since I used this type of focusing. Autofocus is taken for granted these days! Being able to choose between focus points a few inches apart is nice though.

I have the Olympus EVF (had it for my M4/3 setup) and it works really well with my M240 - I have some 3rd party lenses that exhibit focus shift, but this is a non-issue when using the EVF, opens up a bunch of fun eBay options!
Congrats on the purchase - I barely touch my 5DIII now. I may sell it and my Canon lenses to buy the 35mm FLE.
On my last model shoot I used the Leica 3x more than the Canon, something I never did even with the M9 I had before.
It's difficult to see what I need the Canon for now. |

I have the Olympus EVF left over from when I had the PEN m4/3. It also works on the Leica X2.
That was a pleasant surprise!
Did you have any of the 3rd party lenses 6-bit coded to get the EXIF data and camera settings?
