I'm trying to use NFC to connect my Google Nexus 7 (second generation) to my FZ1000 camera. I've never used NFC before and I have no idea what part of the tablet to touch to what part of the camera.

I've banged them together for a while now with no luck. I'm running the Panny Image app on the tablet. NFC is on. The camera is set on an image. How do I connect them logically using NFC to transfer etc.?

Thanks. No question is dumb in the name of tech support. But yes. I did get it to work a couple of times...back of the tablet against the back of the LCD when face in, touching the viewfinder too. That let me transfer images on a one-by-one basis.

Later I was doing it, and it stopped working. Instead, what it did every time was to launch the browser on the tablet and take me to the Google Play store where the Panasonic software was. But that's stupid...I already had the software, and in fact it was running! Not sure how to get around that.

I think I'll try the wifi manually, where it pushes all images as you take them.

Just after I posted that, I got it to work!

Trick...let it launch Google Play, run the software from there, KEEP the camera against the tablet until it actually connects.

The blue outlining is focus peaking (I'm using manual focus).
