I would say I'm decently better at Photoshop than an average person. I can work my way around lightroom and PS for basic to intermediate techniques and I have Lightroom 4 and Photoshop CS5. I really want to improve my skills with it. Is there a great resource that will walk me through some post processing? I am a really big kinesthetic learner (all three together: listening, reading, doing).
Tutorials would work best rather than books...unless it comes with a CD or website to download photos to walk you through. Any ideas? |

I am right with you learning... I am a total newbie at all of it but UTUBE has been favorite so far..
for lightroom, I was introduced by Janine she suggested Anthony Morganti have been my favorite.. those are just amazing!
Photoshop I am all over the place right now with it LOL
I am sure depending others with tons more experience and Photoshop guru with bite will jump in as well |

lynda.com
it costs about $25 for 1 month
they have trials so you can see if you like it ...
during the last Christmas vacations I subscribed, my PS skill grew from zero to somewhere above that, I think it is a great value, guaranteed quality unlike
youtube it can be great, and some not so great |

There have been threads here, some of which I can't dig up. Notably Heida's PP thread which last time I found it was missing most of the images, Judi's how I did this shot which is still worth reading, and Adz's post processing side challenge.
Perhaps we ought to do another learning thread like those. |
