May be out of your price range, but it also means some RX100's for sale (maybe mine!)

Will it have a viewfinder? I really want one of these, but I need a viewfinder -- I can't see the screens in bright light. :(

Yes. Supposedly (EVF = Electronic Viewfinder)

One advantage of an EVF is that you should see the results of all your settings when you half-press the shutter -- makes shooting in Manual mode much easier. Also, everything you see on the screen is captured, so framing can be more accurate than with an optical viewfinder.

I think you'd have trouble seeing it in any light since it doesn't have one ;) I think you mean that the rear LCD works well in bright light. They are RGBW rather than RGB, which is supposed to work better. I find the RX100's LCD is ok, but I prefer holding the camera up to my eye (except when shooting ground level and low angle!)

I can already see better deals popping up on eBay on RX100 - even mkII. But I went with EOS M as I was comfortable with it having owned/used it for almost a year. Also it was cheaper ($350 for new with 22mm f2 prime lens) and - you'll be surprised is smaller than RX100 while offering full APSC sensor and interchangeable lenses.

RX100 MIII expected next week...check this out and drool! (level SR4 info -- from known sources; next level, 5, is "certain"):

Quoted from //www.sonyalpharumors.com/

20MP sensor (same as RX100M2 model)
ISO 125-25600
24-70mm f/1.8-2.8 lens
Built in View finder (SVGA OLED Tru-Finder 1440k dots)
Tiltable screen (180 degrees up)
Record in XAVC S format (Same format of the Sony A7s but with no 4K output option).
Almost same size and weight as the current RX100/M2 models.
I have been told all other specs are the same of the current RX100II model.
Price is said to be around 800-850 Euro in Europe. Should be around $800-850 in USA (US price is my guess)

WOW WOW WOW!

I already put in a preorder, along with hundreds (or more) of others at Amazon I'm sure.

Take a look at these sample photos! (Well photos 1, 3, and 4 blew me away and led to my preordering!)

Here's a video about it too:
