WOW!!! Now...what exactly were you saying about your shots going downhill? This work EXTREMELY impressive. I see that you have been rather busy as of late. Thank you for posting these wonderful shots and sharing your talents with us!

Thank you... well I didn't think my shots were going down hill.. that was the problem.. I didn't think they would be accepted here, at least in the challenges. Most of them being rather abstract, and some with heavy manipulatio.
I'm really pleased with what I'm doing..

and thanks again. :}

Hey JC, with all of this great photography, when do you have time anymore for stained glass and jewelry?

!! I don't! I take a few special orders these days. Just had a glass bowl in a state wide exhibition, but that's about all. I'm totally immersed in photography these days and loving it.

Thank you for the kind compliment, from a phototgrapher I admire!

True,, just got it last month. About half of the shots in that gallery are still with my G3.. which is a great camera and I'm certainly going to keep it!..

Thanks! That's the direction most of my work is going.. So figured it wouldn't do good in the challenges. But I'm much more confident with what I do, so I'm ready to give it a try again.

JC, Beautiful work!

I feel the same way, i fiddle a little too much with my photos, but its what makes me happy. And i do not give a bad vote to any photo i see that i think is manipulated, if its done right.

Same here. I realize that touch-ups are neccessary for practicaly every shot. Even with manipulations, I try to understand why they used that desired effect. I have noticed that all to often that voters are quite turned off by any sort of manipulation, especially as of late.
