I bet a lot of people here don't know about this amazing place, so I thought I'd give it it's own thread. It's a compulsively detailed camera news and review webiste, run by Phil Askey, and has:

- Up to the minute news
- Reviews of almost all new cameras
- Numbingly detailed reviews including:
- Specs
- Body, Desigh, Ergonomics
- Accessories
- Operation & Controls
- Displays
- Menus
- Timing & Sizes
- Special Features
- Image Quality
- Photographic Tests
- Side-By-Side Comparisons
- Pros & Cons
- A Sample Gallery

Phil seems like a man of integrity, his reviews are unbiased and scientific, and the website itself is very well designed. I highly recommend the site to anyone who's looking at buying a new camera, or who wants the latest news int he digital photography world.

Agreed, - superb site, wouldn't dream of purchasing new gear without checking the reviews and comparison tests against similar cams. Also good informative forums but not the same community feel as this one.

Definitely an amazing site -- I get all of my camera information from it. We'll add a links/resources page to the site some day when our list of things to do get a little smaller.

We tried to get on Phil's links page, but never heard back from him -- anyone know him by chance and want to lobby for us? :D

That's funny because I was surfing their site one day when someone mentioned DPC and that is how I ended up here.
