Ding, ding. We have a winner. I have to say, that was one of the scariest things I have ever done, even scarier than the parachute jump I once did. That said, heights are not really my thing; I like my feet firmly planted on the ground... |
Indeed - right there with you, but unlike you I wouldn't even try to do that. Can't believe you are actually smiling :)
Will try and post something soon. |

Ah, you said 'other country' when someone said Snowdonia, therefore I guessed it was not the UK. But a nice play to go once! |

I know, but it's not a country, is it? But never mind, I do like all those images from the UK, showing me so many places I still have to visit. |

Wales, Scotland and England are all separate countries but let's not go to that discussion here :)
Here's one - bit limited to choices since I'm not at home right now.

NOssir. It's on Cape Cod. And not on any pond. It's a challenge. I don't imagine anyone has the fortitude to cruise around looking for it in Google View. I'll narrow it down: it's in a town that abuts MY town (Harwich).
This isn't fair!
Basically I'm trying to make people cruise the streets and look for it, I felt quirky last night :-( |

madness. multiple towns abut your town- and 90% of the houses are grey shake cape cod style! SO even though there is variation and this is an older house- its a fool's errand! madness! |

Yup, madness! However, help is at hand. It turns out this house is actually IN one of the areas of Harwich, it's not over the line. In fact, not even real close to it. So stick to the perimeters of Harwichdom. Also, there's a cemetery more or less across the street :-)
Screen cap of the google earth street view required to win this one. The house is uninhabited, BTW: it's fairly beat up. |

That's the one. The publican and bar can be seen in my March FS entry - we enjoyed a pint and a steak and ale pie here a couple of weeks ago. For those that follow cycling, the First stage of this years Tour de France pass through Starbotton, on the road where I am standing. |
