No, not Pillar Rock, but you are getting close. A clue, that ribbon in the bottom of the valley is a road, with a stream running alongside. |

Looks like a Via Ferrata. Mediteranean Alps perhaps, or Dolomites?

Ooh, very close, but not as impressive a mountain, indeed I'm not 100% sure that what I am climbing is classed as a mountain - will have to check. Happy to accept the name of the valley rather than the rock. |
